He directed 3 of my 10 favorite movies of the decade (Interstellar, Dunkirk, The Dark Knight Rises) I don't include Inception because the year 2010 is not part of the 10s decade.

FYC:
1) Spike Lee (He'd be a glaring omission.)
2) Barry Jenkins (he made other films but he really should be on the list for one word: 'Moonlight')
3.) Sean Baker (made two of the most influential films of decade with almost no budget for the first; made shooting a film, or parts of a film, with an iPhone popular) (he's my favorite but the two directors above would be glaring omissions so much more important to include than the wonderful Baker)
3.) Ryan Coogler (he's been very influential; directed 'Black Panther' and 'Creed,' as well as the hugely influential 'Fruitville Station'))
You've got two spots open; to make room for another, you could take Nicolas Winding Refn off the list. He made 'Drive,' which was good but his other two films of the decade got Metascores of 51/100 and a 37/100 and you ask about the best directors, not the most popular. Objectively, I don't see how anyone could justify him being on the list and any of the four directors above not being included. (By contrast, 'Moonlight' got a 99/100, as well as Best Picture, Baker's films got scores of 74, 85, and 93, and Coogler's films scored 85, 82, and 88.)
I think Eastwood could also easily be removed. Out of the seven films that he made this past decade, only one was considered to be better than mediocre and only marginally. If this were a poll about whole careers, Eastwood would make sense but not for this past decade.

Also, IMDb ratings are rather unreliable, for several reasons, including that the scores aren't defined in any way to be consistent, ergo their meanings are nebulous. For example, I read on the old poll board one person's explanation that a 7 was like a C to him and a 5 like an F because, generally, American schools equate a C with 70% and an F with anything below 60%. To me, a 7 is quite good and a 5 is average.
Metacritic, which is a much more reliable system quantifiably and are based on critics, who see hundreds more films every year than the average IMDb user, on the other hand, gives every one of Lee's films in this decade above a 70, and Metacritic defines above 60 as recommended. 'BlackKklansmen,' of course was widely considered to be an important and very well-made film.
According to IMDb ratings, Lars von Trier, for one example, is about on par with Lee for the decade (although Lee made many more films), and below Lee on Metacritic, but while I personally like von Trier and think he does influential work, he's not yet a career giant like Spike Lee and the list reflects some of those career considerations, whether consciously or not. Lee is a glaring omission, I propose, for the above reasons and because the list gives Eastwood, for example, a nod for a good career, while having a mediocre decade.
I don't assert that the three African-American filmmakers of the four directors I mentioned should be included because of their race but because, certainly in the case of Jenkins and Coogler and arguably in the case of Lee, they had much better decades, even quantifiably according to both IMDb and Metacritic, than some of the filmmakers already on the list. I prefer Sean Baker's films to Jenkins', Coogler's, and Lee's, and he had a three for three stellar decade marked by unmatched innovation, but I think that Jenkins, Coogler, and Lee would be much more obvious omissions.

Eastwood and Winding Refn are two but other directors that could be omitted in order to make space for two or more of the above include:
(In order from most justified to remove to least)
Aronofsky: Black Swan, right at the beginning of the decade, did very well at the Oscars, of course, and well on IMDb and Metacritic but his other two films this decade got a 5.8 and 6.6 on IMDb and a 68 and 75 on Metacrtic.
I love Sofia Coppola but this was not her decade: she made three features: one rated by 54 people on IMDb and apparently never reviewed, which doesn't mean it wasn't good but it can't be judged, and the other two got ok receptions but lower on IMDb than Coogler, Baker, Jenkins, and Lee, as well as Metacritic.
Kathryn Bigelow: I'd hate to see a woman come off the list but she made only two features, while, unlike Granik and Sean Baker, she certainly had the backing and funding to do more, and one had mixed reviews.
David O. Russell: He made three features: the first two were certainly considered to be very good, though nothing revolutionary, and the last was considered an unmitigated lack of inspiration and execution.
Jacques Audiard made three solid films and I'd hate to see him go but he's either on par, according to both IMDb and Metacritic, or lower, than Coogler, Jenkins, Baker, and Lee.

However, my list has a counting error since the number 5 is counted repeatedly

I agree with Ruby that this is a great poll suggestion.
Unfortunately, somehow your list looks like it was corrupted. I have not seen this happen with a name list before.
The list have two #3s:
3. Denis Villeneuve
3. Alfonso Cuarón
... and two #7s:
7. Ethan Coen
7. Jeff Nichols
When I export the list, the numbering stays the same.
I copied your list to one of my lists and that corrected the numbering problem.

When I look at the movies Nolan did in the 2010s and Scorsese's, I was tempted to still pick Nolan. But I'm really sad about the fact that Scorsese is (at this timstamp) on 4th place. So I voted for him, this time it's protesting!
