I am divided between Paul Thomas Anderson and the Coen brothers, almost everything they have done this decade I loved.

It might be a crazy thing to ask... but can you drop the 2010s films from each director into their respective text boxes?

Was about to say the same thing... otherwise people will simply vote for their favorite rather than judging based only on their 2010s footprint and impact.

Dracko,

I agree with Ruby that this is a great poll suggestion.

Unfortunately, somehow your list looks like it was corrupted. I have not seen this happen with a name list before.

The list have two #3s:
3. Denis Villeneuve
3. Alfonso Cuarón

... and two #7s:
7. Ethan Coen
7. Jeff Nichols

When I export the list, the numbering stays the same.

I copied your list to one of my lists and that corrected the numbering problem.

I recommend that you also make a copy of your list to a new list.

1. Create a new name list with the title Best Director of the Decade.
2. Click the three dot to the right of the title. You should see this menu:
  • Copy from this list
  • Export
  • Report this list
3. Click Copy from this list. You should see the your list with check boxes in front of each choice.

4. Click the check box next to 0 selected. You should see all 35 choices selected with a blue check mark and the phrase 35 selected.

5. Click COPY TO. You should see:
Copy to another list
You lists *
-- Select a List ---

6. Click the downward arrow, then selected the new name list with the title Best Director of the Decade.

7. Click Save. This should copy all of the old version of your list to the new version of your list.

8. Click the blue DONE button.

9. Edit the new version of your list to add your question.

10. Post the link to your new list here.

The new list looks great, Dracko! I'm so sorry that you had a technical problem with the first one - those kind of problems happen rarely but can be tedious when they do occur. Thanks for making a new one and bravo on a great poll.

Now I just have to decide on my vote - it's going to be tough. :)

This is a tough one... I've really enjoyed Dennis Villeneuve' body of work, he has made some really interesting films. The easy answer would be Christopher Nolan but I must say both The Dark Knight Rises and Dunkirk didn't do it for me- The Dark Knight Rises in my opinion is a disappointing sequel and Dunkirk I really admire for its technical achievement but the film as a whole didn't work for me and believe me I've tried to like it by watching it multiple times. Also Alfonso Cuaron, Joon-ho Bong, Gullimero Del Toro and Jordan Peele have really impressed me- it's going to be a hard one to vote but really great poll!

Congratulations! :D
When I look at the movies Nolan did in the 2010s and Scorsese's, I was tempted to still pick Nolan. But I'm really sad about the fact that Scorsese is (at this timstamp) on 4th place. So I voted for him, this time it's protesting!
