I think there's a distinction to be made between soundtrack as the different pieces of a score or soundtrack as a set of songs (like for musicals) If it's about the songs, then I'm not sure about the inclusion of "Jaws" or "Star Wars"... of course, you can mean both scores and songs but then the poll might overlap with this one: https://www.imdb.com/poll/kAmRxh0pi2o/

Personally, I prefer the actual songs that have the lyrics in them and having the groups or the singers singing, not the scores that are just instrumental, if you get my drift.

I not know if its the 1970s but the soundtrack i love is Mike Blatt in CARAVANS,,I enjoyed the film as my favourite idol appeared in this film and that was Sir Christopher lee, i close my eyes when i hear this music and imagine that i am in the followers of Caravans.
