Out of these, Amelie. But my favorite scene is for sure from Sullivan's Travels (1941).
It's pretty significannt in the film. Though I can see you already have 35 titles.

Thank you for your suggestion. As you're saying that it's pretty significant in the film, I've made some room and added it to the list.

Well, thank you very much! :)
Though, the film is old, and I'm sure it won't get many votes. But if people would only see it, the scene could rate very high. Because the film is really amusing and great, and the scene itself is about the purpose of watching movies in general...

There was no image for the theater scene in Public Enemies so I added one, I will tell you when it is approved.

cinephile,

Thank you for adding an image for Public Enemies. I considered suggesting the film but did not do so because it lacked the image of John Dillinger meeting his end in the Biograph Theater in Chicago, Illinois.

This is one of the pictures that I added:

I also wanted a picture of the Biograph Theater scene, it was accepted, but somehow, I can't find it on the movie's page.

Thank you for your suggestion . I am yet to watch Public Enemies so I am unaware of the significance of the scene. Also, I already had 35 titles. However since you went through the effort of adding an image, I feel that it's pretty relevant so I made a convenient replacement and have added it to the list.

zerodeaths434,

For your information: John Dillinger is killed by FBI agents shortly after he exits the Biograph Theater in Chicago Illinois.

https://www.fbi.gov/history/famous-cases/john-dillinger

... At 10:30 p.m., Dillinger, with his two female companions on either side, walked out of the theater and turned to his left. As they walked past the doorway in which Purvis was standing, Purvis lit a cigar as a signal for the other men to close in.

Dillinger quickly realized what was happening and acted by instinct. He grabbed a pistol from his right trouser pocket as he ran toward the alley. Five shots were fired from the guns of three FBI agents. Three of the shots hit Dillinger, and he fell face down on the pavement. At 10:50 p.m. on July 22, 1934, John Dillinger was pronounced dead in a little room in the Alexian Brothers Hospital. ...

cinephile,

Sadly, the image of the Biograph Theater shown in the article is not from the film Public Enemies.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm not willing to exceed 35 titles so I've made a convenient replacement and added Twelve Monkeys to the list.

zerodeaths434,

FYI: 35 choices is a hard limit. The tool that poll admins use will returns an error message when a list exceeds 35 choices.

Oh. So what do you suggest? Should I stick with 35 titles or should I reduce the number or should I split the list into two?

zerodeaths434,

You have a good selection of scenes. I would probably stay with the 35 scenes that you already have.
