I "left" James Bond several movies ago but I'm a huge fan of Dame Judy Dench!

Not a big fan of Dench as M. Wish they would have gotten Helen Mirren instead

They should keep male roles as male roles and female as female, or even crazier, create and write brand new characters. I am a fan of Judy Dench both small screen and silver screen, but not a fan of her in Bond especially as M. Out of the list, Naomi Harris for me personally is my favourite female co-star in the recent films. Regards Helen Mirren, good call and it would have been around the time she did Prime Suspect.

Sean Pertwee is still young enough to play M in a future Bond film.

Stephen Fry would also be great as a future M. He played a similar character in:
Doctor Who (TV Series) Spyfall: Part One (2020)

Please explain (give context or define) Bond 6. I'm pretty sure it's not a common term. Even Google doesn't recognize it. And please then write it out into the list's description.

I suspect it's referring to the Daniel Craig generation of Bond films. But since that's not a proper turn of phrase and explanation or a rewrite of the title should be in order.

What's to say I have not "Coined" a new terminology?
I do have two words in the urban legend dictionary that are of my creation.
You managed to figure it out pretty easily. So will others.

I presently have 41 official Urban Dictionary words.
https://www.urbandictionary.com/author.php?author=Tsarstepan

But given that much of the IMDb population is nonEnglish-speaking, your coined term may not that so graspable. Just suggesting you add a brief explanation on what that new turn-of-phrase means.

He's referring to Daniel Craig as the sixth Bond actor. It's not so ... transparently clear as the coined term depicts.

I was expecting to find six options, maybe sixth James Bond could be a clearer title? You eventually figure it out, but it may be better to avoid any confussion.

Sorry,my bad.

Regarding the options, I have always felt very bad for Stephanie Sigman, she was put into the movie becaus they filmed here in Mexico and part of the agreement was having a Mexican actor.
And she has the dubious honor of being one of the few, if not the only woman that Bond has actually rejected and left alone. Not a good record.

Ed,

I was able to verify the problem. Unfortunately, this may take a long time to resolve.

This works:
[link=https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/poll-suggestion-bond-6-favorite-female]
but this doesn't work:
[link=https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/poll-suggestion-bond-6-favorite-female-co-star]
Somehow, the second link is confusing the software for IMDb lists.

Since I have not seen this problem before, it may take a long time to track down the root cause and report it to IMDb staff.

IMDb seems to dislike the presence of the token

Thanks. I've confirmed it works.

Ed,

By the way, %63%6f is ASCII coding for co.

It's percent encoding (like the %20 you see for whitespace in URLs), not ASCII/UNICODE, but yeah.

FYI:

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/percent-encoding

Percent-encoding is a mechanism to encode 8-bit characters that have specific meaning in the context of URLs. It is sometimes called URL encoding. The encoding consists of substitution: A '%' followed by the hexadecimal representation of the ASCII value of the replace character.

Ed,

I happy to see that your discussion works properly.

Talia / Abi,

Thank you for identifying a solution. When I get a chance, I will post a problem report. However, I really do not expect the IMDb technical staff to update the list software anytime soon, since there is a viable workaround and this is an extremely rare problem.

If you still want to change the title of this thread, please reply below. I've been avoiding editing the title of threads because this can lead to the thread becoming unavailable for an indeterminate amount of time.
