Live Poll: Butch Coolidge vs Anton Chigurh

These two images show two of the most tense and memorable murders of cinema. The respective scenes of the images are memorable for the reason that in these two cases there was a factor which I call "ticking"" that gave an exciting impasse to the scene.

Which of these two impasses do you prefer?

I love this idea, and the concept and term, "ticking," is great. I think that this would be a very good poll.

The editors prefer vs. with a period after the "s." If you could add the period, that'd be great.

The intro. and text under the options are all written very well, too. May I make a few suggestions just to improve the grammar and clarity? ('below in bold)

The ticking was the "Toaster." 

When Butch and Vincent stare at each other, there is a certain tension in the air and right after, when the bread jumps from the toaster, he shoots and kills Vincent.

The ticking was the "Phone."

Anton has his gun pointed at Carson as the two talk a little... Carson realizes how crazy Anton is and he knows it's a matter of time until the inevitable happens... the phone rings, there's a certain tension in the air... and BANG!! Anton kills Carson.

By the way, not only is this a wonderful idea but, especially for a new author, this is well constructed. :)

I made the corrections in the grammar and I appreciate your help because my first language it's not english so when I try to write in English I make some gaffes.

You're welcome, Jose, and your English is really quite good -- and, as an English instructor of college students whose first language is most often English, I assure you that everyone makes gaffes when they/we write in English. :) It's a beautiful, but strange and difficult, language. 

Oh, and don't worry about the post being updated. I'm sure Dan or Peter will if they notice but it's not that important. The list is the important thing and it looks great.
