Ed,

My favorite:
What's Up, Doc? (1972)

My favorite from your list:
Catch Me If You Can (2002)

I'm surprised you do not have:
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963)

My eighteen year-old niece will join you as classicists. She's a first year film student in college and she watches the occasional contemporary film because that's what her friends want to see but she could put to shame most ninety year-olds in her knowledge of old, classic movies. She puts me to shame, that's for sure. It's a rare hard-to-find film before 1970 that's flown below her radar.

When I ask her about a recent small-budget indie film that I'm proud to have found, she'll often reply, "You're so pathetically young, Aunt Sara," lol.

If she has 'Casablanca' in her top 5 movies she is a certifiable "Classicist"!!!

She does, actually, and she loves "Kate" Hepburn. I think her top five or ten include a few Hepburn films, Citizen Kane, Casablanca, and a film noir or two. She liked 'Tokyo Story' but thought it a bit slow, of course: it took me until I was thirty or so to not feel bored with that wonderful film so she's way ahead of where I was. When I was 18, I loved Casablanca, The Naked Spur, and To Kill a Mockingbird but hadn't seen many other classic films yet.

Inception is better than any other movie on the list, but I don't consider it a chase movie.

My favorite movie from those that I consider chase movie is Heat (1995).

Good one! The list has so many good films that it's a tough choice.

Good title, too, although do you think the colon might be distracting? I'm wondering if it's even better without it.

Either way, bravo on all fronts.

Hi Ed, This would actually qualify for the home page but I just found out that the quotn. marks might disqualify it (for technical reasons, I think). I can't guarantee that, without the quotation marks, it will make it to the home page but it increases the chances.
It's your call, of course, but I wanted to pass the information on to you. : )

Ed,

Echoing what Ruby said: The admins recommend changes to improve a polls chances for appearing on the IMDb Home Page. However, if a poll meets all of the technical requirements for the IMDb Home Page, the IMDb editors will likely choose other polls that also meets the requirements and is timely.
