Directors, actors, actresses, singers, performers, all these 35 celebrities defined the 2010s for the best... with a few controversial figures.

Celebrating the end of a tumultuous decade, which of these performers best defined the 2010s?

Pretty good list, but I can't decide whether to argue with you about including Weinstein or about not including Trump.

Also FYC:

Jennifer Lawrence
Justin Bieber

'Another Great poll, ElMo. :). The list is really exceptionally on mark, I think, but I question the use of "artistically" in the intro for a few of the choices, namely Kim Kardashian. She has definitely helped define the decade but not through anything remotely artistic that I know of.

FYC:

Joaquin Phoenix (one word: Joker)

Michael C. Hall (he not only portrayed Dexter, one of two most iconic and prototypical TV anti-heroes of the decade, he is credited with writing and influencing the development of the character, as well as producing)

Jenji Kohan (her series -- OITNB -- is often credited as "the show that changed everything" in the sense that, as one of the very first Netflix original series, and the most popular of those few, each season was released in its entirety on one evening every year, leading to the "binge watching" phenomenon)

here's the situation ruby:
I need 18 female celebrities and 17 male, KK is out, Jenji is in, so far so good.
If I add Hall and Phoenix, I have to remove two guys, which one would you kick out of the list?

You don't think you make good polls?! Oh my gosh, ElMo, you are the master. The best of you polls are nothing less than magical: you elevate it to an art.

I'd replace Mamoa and Johansson with Hall and Phoenix. (I definitely think of the 2000s for Johansson.) Phoenix might be more 2020s, though, so maybe just replace Mamoa with Hall? Your female/male ratio would remain intact that way but it's your poll, of course, and you have great judgement, anyway. I guess that's one of the fun things about lists: all of the debate and opinions. :)

Congratulations ElMo! LEO!
A big thank you to Leonardo DiCaprio in his unbreakable commitment to save the environment. His self produced short documentations like e.g.:
'Pollinators Under Pressure'
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8654714/
are urgent short movies to spread the will of saving ourselves by saving nature.
That's a simple truth!
