FYC, I would consider mixing it up. After all, what makes one a Lee-gend can be subjective. While STARMeter can be a flavor of the day metric, it can indicate some staying power and enduring influence. I am pretty sure everyone on your list is in the Top 5000, my vote Ang Lee just squeeks in at 4,918 on the STARmeter. I definitely would include Christopher Lee over Brandon Lee, in my opinion, if committed to a top ten. Bruce Lee also belongs on the legends list, as he is one of Hollywood's The Top-Earning Dead Celebrities.
Ang Lee (I) (Director, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000))
STARmeter 4,918
Brandon Lee (I) (Actor, The Crow (1994))
STARmeter 4,072
Lee Van Cleef (Actor, Escape from New York (1981))
STARmeter 4,020
I think these ten also qualify by being Lee-gendary, each in their own way by carving out their own claims to fame or specialty. I would give them some consideration.
Lee Pace (I) (Actor, Guardians of the Galaxy (2014))
STARmeter 419
Abbey Lee (Actress, Mad Max: Fury Road (2015))
STARmeter 488
Leelee Sobieski (Actress, 88 Minutes (2007))
STARmeter 1,083
Lee Majors (I) (Actor, The Six Million Dollar Man (1974))
STARmeter 1,479
Christopher Lee (I) (Actor, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002))
STARmeter 1,649
Jonny Lee Miller (Actor, Mindhunters (2004))
STARmeter 1,975
Lauren Lee Smith (Actress, Trick 'r Treat (2007))
STARmeter 2,049
Jason Lee (I) (Actor, Almost Famous (2000))
STARmeter 2,458
R. Lee Ermey (Actor, Full Metal Jacket (1987))
STARmeter 2,993
Lee J. Cobb (Actor, 12 Angry Men (1957))
STARmeter 3,892

I knew I forgot some big ones, I was in such despair that I had added "Leigh" and "Li" named characters, that's how unsatisfying the list was. I can't believe I forgot Christopher Lee and Lee J. Cobb.
I'll add all your suggestions and try to find a "respectful" order.
Thanks!

Not a comment on their current achievements, but maybe I'll skip the youngsters as it's too early to qualify them as "lee-gends" (I want to keep the pun:))

Age shouldn't be factor, plus younger stars can be Lee-gends.
I'm confused, Brandon Lee (I) (1965–1993) is only twenty-seven and no award nominations, but qualifies as a Lee-gend. Lee Van Cleef has no awards either and still makes the cut. While Jason Lee, Leelee Sobieski and Lee Pace each have two major nominations and similar fame, one qualifies and the other two don't as Lee-gends.
Lee Majors and Johnny Lee Miller both have no awards, but were the stars of multiple TV series and had iconic TV roles. One qualifies, the other doesn't. I am having a hard time discerning what makes someone Lee-gendary?
I think Lauren Lee Smith claim to fame, in my opinion is a bit more risque. Abbey Lee has in three short years built an impressive resume of dozen high-profile roles in both big-budget and eclectic indie movies. I might buy these two are questionable Lee-gends, But, I think both are more than just "pretty faces". Also, if someone's claim to fame is dying young, then other indiscriminate claims to fame should be too.
Any list is always going to be debatable, based on one's opinion. But, I can't see the logic in some of the inclusions, when compared to some of the exclusions.

To be honest, I didn't take nominations into consideration. Ed Wood is a legend, as the worst Hollywood director ever, but a legend nonetheless to which Burton's biopic contributed a little.
And you won't tell me that Lee Van Cleef isn't a legend? Who cares about nominations when it's Lee Van Cleef. Jean Harlow never got a nomination. Character actors can be legends and they rarely get noticed.
The inclusion of Brandon Lee is primarily because a/ he was the son of Bruce Lee b/ his promising career was cut short by a freak accident c/ his tragic accidental death echoed his fathers' and the parallel between the two destinies was enough to cement a sort of "legend" in his case, not a pleasant one but still...
I didn't include Johnny Lee Miller because I forgot. As simple as that.
As for the youngsters, not including them wasn't a commentary on their talent (did I imply that?) just that their whole career is ahead of them and I'm not sure they had achieved enough eminence to be considered legends. It's not a matter of age, I could consider Damien Chazelle or Chloe Grace Moretz as legends...
... but seriously, I didn't want that poll to be just about Lee-named celebrities.

Certainly, your call on inclusions and exclusions. My point is the same as yours, you can be Lee-gendary for a variety of reasons, some you would be proud of and other you wouldn't. I differ in that I would place Johnny Lee Miller above both Brandon Lee and Lee Van Cleef. I would say they all fall into a grey area and are judgment calls to some degree.

Sure, Lee Daniels.
And for some reason, reading your answer reminded me of Lee Grant.
I try not to let my personal judgment interfere with the listing, the order doesn't mean much one you get past the Top 5 or Top 10 but I thought the words "legend" or "legacy" would instinctively disqualify anyone from the younger generations.

Another grey area option, Bernard Lee (I) (1908–1981). He was the original 'M' of the Bond franchise for the first two decades.

Lee trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art,[4] before making his professional stage debut in 1924.[5][6] He is perhaps best known for playing M in the first eleven Eon-produced James Bond films.[2][3] Lee appeared on stage and television dramatisations, as well as in more than 100 films.[10]
