Oh, gosh, these are so funny!  As I was going through them I wanted to tell you which was my favorite, but there were so many I couldn't choose!  Great job.

Ed,

Your comments for 4. The Man from Planet X (1951) and The Thing from Another World (1951) could be considered libelous. As such, it could limit the possibility that this poll suggestion would ever go live.

The Rodman came to me because he was on the board of monitored aliens in Men in Black! Still think it should stay out?

Ed,

Lacking that context, it's probably best to be on the safe side.

Keep in mind, when a poll goes live IMDb in effect endorses the content of the poll. We collectively do no wish to inadvertently cause legal issues for IMDb.

No problem. It gives me a hard boundary reference that I am now aware of.

Oh no -- thank you, Ed -- but no.
Please don't mention me as a suggesting person for this poll because I've misunderstood the concept from the very beginning (see below "My suggestions were initially for comments only, so they are accidental for this poll"). And when my comments are not in use, there is initially no ground to mention me.
Sorry, it was my fault to separate the suggestions for discussion but then no way to delete them. OK?

PS: I see no fun in the title "Journey to the Center of the Earth", but did not understood they should also be fun.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Trying to use titles that were not mainstream and just sound weird when you say them on their own. So 1, 2, 3, & 5 are out because I wanted to limit the amount of well known titles. I have only a few. It is very hard to come up with a short line that is funny. As you can see some of mine are really "BAD".
So find some really weird titles if you feel like it.
I'll use This Island Earth (1955) after thinking about an upgrade on your comment.
The Thing from Another World (1951) will go back in later today.

Ed, you know, from the first moment I just could not believe that understood that right: the original titles must be cool also, not only comments. Now I believe, since you've explained deeper. Sorry, but the poll considers that all IMDb users have "English" or "Original" enabled as interface language in their profiles.

My suggestions were initially for comments only, so they are accidental for this poll. Consider them as total FYC, until somehow the above problem be gone. Thank you.

Ed, this comment holds the sci-fi way of evolution mixed to detective. I love both genres and do like the current context, but now it's really hard for voters to solve this Rubik's Cube. We remember where it started, so it only seems to be easy for others 8)))
