Daphne Du Maurier was one of the most popular English writers of the 20th Century, when middle-brow genre fiction was accorded a higher level of respect in a more broadly literate age. For her services to literature, she was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1969, the female equivalent of a knighthood.

Welcome Vortex.
Since du Maurier didn't write the screenplays for these films I think a more accurate question would be "Which of these films based on a Daphne du Maurier story is your favorite?"
Also, despite how IMDb lists it, her last name has a lower-case D.

Thanks, Jen, I have changed the question and fixed the lower-case D (except for inside the link where I can't).

Vortexfugue,
Thank you for making the change so quickly. I have no further advice at this point.
My vote:
Rebecca (1940)

Although I voted for 'Don't Look Now' ..it could have been 'Rebecca ' or 'The Birds'- maybe "which film is closest in tone to it's source material?" May have been a better question ...

Thanks for updating your list. Please consider Jen's advice below. The question really should be:
Which of these films based on a Daphne du Maurier story is your favorite?
