Doris Day, the legendary American actress, singer, and animal welfare activist, died on May 13, 2019 at the age of 97. Winner of the Cecil B. DeMille award in 1989 for her outstanding film career, Doris Mary Ann Kappelhoff was also a renowned singer. She recorded more than 650 songs from 1947 to 1967, making her one of the most popular and acclaimed singers of the 20th century.

Well, I posted my suggestion some 3 hours ago, but I know the feeling... we both did the work for this poll, therefore I suggest to keep both suggestions and let the administrators decide which one they choose.

Just a thought, Why not have one poll dedicated to her best movie and the other dedicated to her best cinematic song performance? The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956) and Que Sera Sera would get my respectively.

Sounds like a good idea. I would suggest to wait until the film poll goes live and then the other one could launch a poll with songs from Doris Day.

Such a good song, especially the way she sings it.  
Although I was stunned and a little weirded out when I heard it on a commercial for Samsung or something, and people were singing it while fighting a monster in a virtual world.  :)

Well, I prefer to remain anonymous, but I will say that I'm not over 60 (lol) I do have a taste for older films, while some are boring some are tasteful, made with more care and attention than most CGI fever dreams now.  :)

FYI,  I was noticing TCM is doing a Doris Day tribute on June 9th. If you are a subscriber you can catch a dozen of her movies live or watch them later in the week on demand or stream via computer. A fair amount of the titles in your poll are being featured during TCM Remembers Doris Day 1922-2019 and also includes a Johnny Carson interview with her.
