You know what, even I would pick the same!

I love Wong-Kar-Wai's work and this is my 2nd favorite film from his filmography.

I voted for "Walt Disney's 'Fantasia'(1940)" on the poll list, even though it was rated second in the poll.

Pardon me, sir, but is this message directed toward someone else, or is it directed toward me?  And if it's meant for me, then could you please elaborate as to its meaning?

Hi, Digger!

I didn't realize that 'Fantasia' (1940) was in the original list and I added it in the 2nd list by mistake. That's why I wrote 'Removed' as a reply.

Thank you!

Thank you, Mr. Deshpande, sir, for clarifying all that for me.  And I, too, am very sorry for the misunderstanding.  Just another case of "Getting our wires mixed up", correct?  Anyways, everything is 5-by-5 on my end, okey-dokey?

I haven't seen any of his work tbh, but I know for a fact that PTA is a big admirer of Altman's work and I'm a huge admirer of his!

So, I will look into it for sure!

i love altman...

i grew up in real life where people interrupt each other when they're speaking...and in each altman film, there's alot of speaking and alot of interrupting...

my favorite of his is 'short cuts', but there's also 'nashville', 'pret-a-porter', 'secret honor' (which is brilliant), of course 'mash' and 'the player'...and the exceptional 'gosford park' (my second favorite choice)...

hope you enjoy...'cause as you can see...there are plenty more...

We both love Allen's films. So I'm pretty sure I would give it a try.

Thanks for the recommendation!

What makes Pulp Fiction, Traffic or some others, an anthology film, rather that just a movie with related  or inter-connected story lines? It seems like a lot of these don't fit the definition you use in your introduction.

Wild Tales (2014), Movie 43 (2013), Heavy Metal (1981), Fantasia (1940). The Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) seem to great examples of a  collection of short stories by various writers/directors, usually in the same literary form, of the same period, or on the same subject.

I was just reading about it and realized that the films you have mentioned are called as 'Hyperlink films' and not the 'Anthology Films'.

Should I delete this thread and rather suggest about Hyperlink Cinema?
