Don't try to look up the word on the Webster dictionary, it's just an arbitrary combination of the words "canine" and "animated", canine referring to animals such as dogs, wolves, foxes, coyotes, uh... jackals, who play a significant part to the story and aren't just a demographic portion of an animal-related universe.

Which of these canine-themed animated films (one per series) is your favorite?

ElM,

101 Dalmatians (1961) and Lady and the Tramp (1955) were two of the first films I saw in a movie theater. My first public viewing of a film was at a drive-in movie theater. That film was Visit to a Small Planet (1960).

My vote:
Lady and the Tramp (1955)

I love it when a simple suggestion awakens sweet memories such as those you just shared... you grew up in a time where going to the theater meant something, I imagine a Disney short cartoon before the big picture, the news segment, the intermissions, a bucket of popcorn costing 0.00001 $ etc. etc.

'Sweet poll. 101 Dalmations. I love the title and your invented word - and wouldn't be surprised if it caught on and showed up in the Oxford a few years down the line. : )

May I suggest one tiny edit to the intro? (colon instead of comma, in bold)

Thanks ruby, I'm just surprised I could only come up with 10 titles, pretty sure we can make it to 20.
