Should I add the main characters from Dunkirk or is it too early to know who will be the main characters (it looks like Rylance, Hardy and Harry Styles(!) will be among them)?

Just an advice. You can make it a "Nolan's Original Character" kind of poll. I am little worried that 'Batman' fanbase will ruin this poll again.
Except the TDK trilogy, all other films of Nolan are 'Original'. So, a original character poll will look better and latest movie 'Dunkirk' is also a original one, based on a true event.
Final call is yours of course.

Thanks for your help on this suggestion. All characters that are part of The Dark Knight trilogy have since been removed and this has been added in the description in case there is any confusion regarding their omissions.
I have also added the characters of Commander Bolton and Alex from "Dunkirk". Hopefully, the list is more thorough now.

Yep, I guess opening nights around various parts of the world were yesterday but because of the shift in timezone, the dates would appear different.

I like the movie. Suspense throughout the film with some cool suspense (clock ticking) score.

I haven't seen any version of Insomnia, but if Nolan's characters are based on the same characters from the earlier version, perhaps it's best to remove them.
At least, it's better to remove them now, before the poll goes live. If you wish to have them back, you could always have it re-pushed.

Thanks for the advice Jess; I think, though the film was a remake, the characters were different and thus should be able to qualify in this list. But you're right about Tesla, so he's since been removed! :)

'Good advice, Jess, and good choice, Kyle, about Tesla. As you said, Kyle, you were wondering about the characters from Insomnia and I was too. They have different names so, I guess, technically, that they are different characters, but their approximate roles are the same: the insomniac detective and the murderer. I'd probably argue that they are just slightly different interpretations of the same characters but it'd be reasonable, I suppose, to argue the opposite, so I guess either including them or not is fine.
