Zzyzx, California is exactly 100 miles as the crow flies directly north of me.

Interesting, I've never heard of Zzyzx. Its unusual names bears certain resemblance with Zexzz, one of my music projects.

Wow ... good list. It was hard to choose from those movies because I loved a good many of them. I guess overall, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" would be my most favorite there.
