For people growing up in the 1980's and 1990's the idea of having a TV network devoted entirely to programming devoted to kids was the greatest idea ever! The channel that started it all was Nickelodeon; and the late 80's and 90's were it's golden age.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s, but I was in the wrong country for Nickelodeon and I don't think I saw any of these (other than a bit of Spongebob later on).

I had exactly the same feeling while looking at this list, pretty sure many of these shows were good but I don't get the "Golden Age" vibes while I do believe the 80's and 90's were the Golden Age of TV animation, to give you an idea of the kind of cartoons I grew up with, here are two polls that contain most of them, pretty sure you'll recognize many of them:

... and of course, we had the classic cartoons (Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, the Disney Channel..)

I saw none of the titles on the suggestion on the other two lists. It appears that everything on the other lists you suggested is mostly Euro or Anime cartoons while these were mostly American made cartoons and live action series.
