I agree that five of these films were overrated, and I didn't see one of them, so I think it's a good list. I most agree with Avatar, which I gave a 4/10; I can't stand most James Cameron movies and this was no different. 'Good poll, Elmo.
Surprisingly, that was the only Cameron movie I enjoyed besides T2: Judgement Day. Even I don't like much of his work. He's more into creating something spectacular and I'm more into simplicity, I guess!
I actually agree with a lot of these but looking at MOST overrated, I seriously could just never get into The Matrix (1999). I don't think Ebert liked it either, which allows me some solace but I found it mind-numbing and certainly not worthy of the 250 list. Oh well, C'est La Vie, right Elmo?
The film is in my watchlist so I don't think I'll be able to expose a judgment right now, but I have a hunch it wouldn't be my most overrated movie from that list (there are already some good candidates)
