Paok-Kilkis, that comment triggered spam filter here on GS, I imagine due to lack of punctuation or just general minimalism. Fished it out, anyhow.

Paok-Kilkis,
For your consideration:
Changeling (2008)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0824747/mediaviewer/rm3721364993

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Stewart_Northcott
On February 13, 1929, [Judge ] Freeman sentenced [Gordon Stewart Northcott] to death and he was hanged on October 2, 1930 at San Quentin State Prison. He was 23 years old.
= = =
Spartacus (1960) ends with the mass crucifixion of Spartacus and his followers. I could not find any suitable images.

Note: I did not notice that Breumaster suggested the hanging scene of Gordon Stewart Northcott when I posted my suggestion.

I asked myself why you didn't. So I did, but thought on you, because I noticed that 'Changeling' is a movie you did admire in the past. :D And it is good for sure. The hanging scene was bone-chilling somehow. Eastwood portrayed Northcott as a really strange guy.

Gordon Stewart Northcott and his parents were truly strange people.
You may find the Wikipedia article about the Wineville Chicken Coop murders interesting:

I provided the World Cat entry for both books, so you may be able to find them at your local library.

Breumaster,
"Nothing is strange with you" probably contains more information regarding Northcott. It is a self-published book and could have benefited from having an editor.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079KGVM32
I encouraged the author, James Jeffrey Paul, to self-publish when he received multiple rejections from publishers. Mr. Paul gave me an autographed copy as a result. Sadly, Mr. Paul died two years ago.
"The road out of hell" is a story of redemption for Sanford Clark. It contains some additional information about Northcott. I continue to correspond with Tony Flacco.

Thank you Dan.
I'm curious now about the real story. Clint Eastwood made a very strong movie. It has so strong dramatic moments. But I think his best was 'Million Dollar Baby', closely followed by 'Gran Torino'. When I look at Scorsese, he is a brilliant director. But Eastwood got more humanity in his pictures. I like how they touch me.

I the book "The Road Out Of Hell" came today. I will start reading it tomorrow, but it might take some time for me to understand the text. There was only an english version. I'm curious to see how good Eastwood did, but I expect he did best! ;)

Breumaster,
Eastwood filmed the J. Michael Straczynski screen play with only one minor change, one related to how refrigerators worked at the time of the story. From everything I've read about the case, the Northcott's execution scene is fairly accurate; although Eastwood decided not to show the full 12 minutes that Northcott strangled to death.
