More seriously, I know you told me that. And I know that because the poster of The Shining on IMDb frontage isn't the same than the one most people remember and that one really does exude danger.
I wanted to pick the posters that don't have different versions, that's all... maybe I was wrong but to be honest, I'm not sure I like the tone you used in that comment.

And I am not here to order anyone because I am a 25 year old guy and I respect my seniors. I am just disappointed that you don't take my advice and make your mistake again and again.
These are basic and modified poll making rules. I have seen you made many poster related polls before using titles, but those are old times. Now the time and rules have changed. I am here to help people. Because I see many of us old poll board members don't follow the basic rules these days.
For example:
Jen's poll How Low Will You Go?.
The poll is not directly related to the titles and in that case the poll should be made using the posters of those titles.
I clearly remember HB Seigal sir made this particular rule before leaving IMDb. But as you can see, nobody cares.
But I know the difference between a poster and a title related poll, I knew I should have made an image polls, I just went for the lazy solution... that's all, if the poll doesn't get picked because of that, that will serve me.
But I disagree with you when you say that I made that mistake again and again, when did I ever do that in the last couple of years? Besides, if I recall correctly, we discussed this issue in a character-related poll and the idea was to make it an image poll so we're sure that we'll get the Joker or Hannibal Lecter we want.

I agree it's not worth to "fight", but I don't think IMDb editors are that strict when it comes to guidelines, I believe they just pick a poll they like and thats it, 's let's not be more royalist than the king. By the way, congrats for the homepage poll, I wish I could have that satisfaction sometimes the next decade. :(
