Good choice.  I feel the new Terminator is a bit unneeded, given the newest one wrapped things up.  Let's see, which do I choose...  :)
Zombieland - Zombies are getting old; werewolves don't get enough attention!
Hellboy - I don't even wanna know.
Rambo V - Okay, I know it might be a tad neat to see Stallone come back, but that's what Expendables is for!
Jumanji - Oh, great, more dull jokes and cliche action.  Lovely.
Lego 2 - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Child's Play - You've got to be kidding.
MIB - I'll give it a chance...
The Addams Family - Why do they get all the attention?  Where's the Munsters, after all they're actually monsters!
How to Train Your Dragon - Blah.
Maleficent 2 - :/

So, I'm not enthused for a lot of these (surprise!); I think Hollywood is spending too much time on boring, unwanted reboots when they could be doing other, better things.  :)

Now, that's a line of questioning that I love... I was tired of the "Anticipated" thing, the way it took our enthusiasm for granted so I really applaud the idea and right now, I don't know exactly what film to vote for.

I find it unnecessary to have Lion King, Aladdin, and Dumbo all in the same year, so one of those. I'd probably pick Dumbo.

I am sure Disney did otherwise they would have scheduled all these movies to be released this year. And I am sure that by the time this year is said and done Disney is going to be ranking in a lot of money. You don't have to see all these movies, even how interesting that both live action version of Aladdin and the Lion King are coming out this year when the animated movie counterparts came out less then 2 years apart. Does Christopher Robin from last year really count as a live action remake/boot, otherwise the last really one that Disney had was Beauty and the Beast.

No James Cameron in direction, no party. I honestly would prefer to keep directing Terminator movies than to spend his entire life making those Avatar films.

Paok-Kilkis, for some reason your post was caught in the SPAM filter.

As for James Cameron I can thoroughly agree, but he is a writer and a producer on this new movie, which is the next best thing.

Yes, Cameron needs to quit the elf movies and focus on cyborgs.  :)

Toy Story 4 is in my opinion, I thought Toy Story 3 wrapped things very nicely, where i ma sure in almost 9 years a lot of people would have seen the movie≥ I am sure at some point I will see Toy Story 4, but did we need Toy Story 4, as their have been a few other animated franchises that did at least 4 films, and in even quicker timing then the Tot Story films. Even considering the first film came out in 1995, Toy Story 2 came out in 1999, Toy Story 3 came out in 2010, and Toy Story 4 set to be released in 2019.

How is the Avengers not on this list? I'd say the last 20odd of those things (and ALL comic book movies for that matter) were "unnecessary". Remember when they made movies about books without pictures?

Rob Webster, I mean, I am a comic book and superhero fan and I still partially agree, that abundance leads to gems in the genre getting easily overlooked.

There's another side to the problem: all the classics were adapted to pieces nowadays and anytime any literature sensation gets adapted it sparks some controversy because everyone has a different picture in mind. Comic books ar very similar to storyboards from the get go and provide a lot of cues as to how characters should look...

Oh, and another thing: despite we have so much movies based on the comics nowadays, some characters remain unadapted for literal decades. Surrealist superhero Flaming Carrot turns 40 this year and only adaptation of that comic, despite being good in its own right, managed to cut the titular character out, concentrating on his supporting teammates instead.
