Un homme qui dort (1974) (The Man Who Sleeps; the movie is so adamant on being lonely and isolated that the main protagonist is the only credited character apart from a female narrator)
Lunatics: A Love Story (1991) (a very underrated and undeservedly obscure movie)

Also maybe Barbie as Rapunzel. Almost the whole point of the movie was Rapunzel being dominated and kept hidden from life by the witch.
