In this era of reboots, revivals and remakes. Which movies should never be touched?

I certainly hope that no one is foolish enough to re-make any of these films, least of all Casablanca (1942).

I like the idea but it appears it's been done. See below:

Well, equally none of them should be remade, in my humble opinion. However, it also probably wouldn't be so terrible if a legendary movie is remade no sooner than 100 years after its original was made, in my humble opinion. With Scarface in mind, the cinema industry has a hard time achieving longer than a 45-year gap between a remake and an original.

By the way, "should never have been" implies that it has already happened, which is not the case. The proper tense would be "should never be remade".

Schindler's, Casablanca, and It's A Wonderful Life. One of them (don't know which) will get my vote.

I thought that Titanic would be on the list. Would vote for that.

I'm just glad that James Cameron gave humanity less of a reason to keep making so many non-documentary movies about or set aboard the RMS Titanic, across somewhat short spans of time.

Great idea... so sorry it's already a poll!
But the poll didn't include "The Princess Bride."  That would've been my vote.  You can't remake that - it needs to have that original fairy tale feeling.
