This list does not include movies where both the hero and the villain dies.
I'm creating a separate list for them: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls098359909/

I'm looking for movies with typical heroes and villains.
In Sunset Blvd., she shot him because she didn't want him to leave her. She was an emotionally unstable woman desperate for love.

Sugg:
Blood Vows: The Story of a Mafia Wife
The way I remember, Melissa Gilbert's character gets shot in the end by Talia Shire.
I don't recall all the details, but it seemed like it was good vs. evil.

Blood Vows: The Story of a Mafia Wife (1987)
Is this the one? If Yes, It's not eligible. It's a TV movie. I'm only considering feature films.

I don't see "The Lion King" as qualifying.
Mufasa isn't the primary protagonist, Simba is.
His death is the event that sets the rest of the plot in motion.
If the Lion King qualifies, then everyone of those many revenge action films where the villain kills the primary protagonist's wife/husband/kid/brother/friend in the beginning qualify.

I'm sorry but I forgot which hero died 'X-Men: The Last Stand'. May I know who died and who killed them?
