Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? Legendary team of outlaws that robbed banks and trains and where portrayed by Paul Bewman and Robert Redford in a very famous film of the same name: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) that won four Oscars in Writing, cinematography, score and song and was nominated for best picture, Director ( George Roy Hill) and sound? Yeah, I say they did.
I mean have you ever seen this scene?

But then you could always go with the same actors as Hooker and Gandalf in “The Sting”. Con-Men are criminals too.

You're welcome. :)

I wonder why not Tuco and Blondie. They are the most prominent duo by collecting cash from state with the shoot-him-from-the-rope-trick. ;) That would be common fraud.

What about Steve Martin and Michael Cain in 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'?

TiVo and Blondie’s act was more than fraud since Tuco was actually guilty of his crimes. It is swindling, obstruction of justice, “aiding and abetting a criminal” and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Also I had already tried con-Men / grifters with “the Sting” and “Paper Moon” and Sevenar1 already rejected them. So I doubt Secenar1 is going to take “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” ( which the original, “ Bedtime Story “, (1964) With David Niven, Marlon Brando, and Shirley Jones (their intended mark) was funnier) .

I've had saw your suggestion but then passed by my head and I forgot to put and yeah i agree with you they are two of the most prominent duo by collecting cash from state with the shoot-him-from-the-rope-trick. They have some back and forth but fit on partners in crime.

Pumpkin & Honey Bunny and Tuco & Blondie are the two of your suggestions that i selected.
But one time again, Thanks for your all suggestions.

It's not a matter of rejecting "Paper Moon" , you didn't even give me time to respond to that suggestion. Now that i open this thread i've saw your suggestion and i liked it.

Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid and Addie & Moses are the two of your suggestions that i selected and included. You all gave suggestions and I aprecciate that. Sometimes it's not a matter of rejecting your suggestions because i simply want it, it's more a matter of selected the best ones of your suggestions.
I think the idea when you give a range of suggestions is that within these options select the best.
But one time again, Thanks for your all suggestions.

This is such a well-done poll: good idea, great images, and well-written. The vote is a tough choice (Thelma & Louise, Addie & her Dad? etc.). That's a lot of fun, though, and the results will be interesting.

I think I got one. But you have to understand that this a movie, that when it was made, it broke ground as the first movie to make the mafia as a setting for a black comedy (“black” meaning as about killing, death, and stealing ) . However, those who fallowed it after it paved the way, did it better and funnier. It became forgotten. It is Prizzi’s Honor (1985). It is a comedy of a hitman and a hitwomen who fall in love, get married and then they find out that they were in the same line of work. Things go well until they are each individually given a contract to kill each other. Films that are direct inheritors of this comedy about hitmen are “Pulp Fiction”, “Get Shorty”, Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, and maybe even “Spy kids” (Yeah, I got a shiver at that one.)
