Ed Jones (XLIX), I have a feeling Marco Romano will make a movie with this runtime, eventually, when sufficient tech will be available. It probably technically will even be released, but hardly watched in entirety.
Although there is a way: you can split it via editing software make a split-screen and watch portions at once on one screen which will make for a faster viewing. I'd argue it could be done with movies in general, if you are a super-multitasker.

Jumanji is already the prequel to Zathura.

The Triplets of Belleville (2003): We follow Belleville Sisters when the were young and up and comers.
Princess Mononoke (1997): Following Moro and the wolves before Lady Eboshi and the humans moved to the area.
