Great poll. Phillip Seymour Hoffman would get my vote. I'd suggest spelling out "Five" in the title and "seven" in the introduction, as grammar rules suggest numbers ten and under be written out -- my English instructor hat must be back on, lol. (Just ignore that hat if it gets annoying, lol.) Oh, I just realize another drawback of GS: no emoji. Oh, how I miss the poll board already. 'So glad we have this, though.

I miss the old board too, I liked the additional features and flexibility it offered. GS seems to have its own advantages, but could be so much more. I like your English instructor hat, it helps to raise the bar on polls. Plus, other than random typos and errors, you learn to be a better writer. I like how you explain the reasons behind the correction.

Dan,

There are seven actors. Daniel Day won it two times. So a total of 6 + 2 = 8 performances. And my poll is about performances, not the actor.

The same thing applies to my other 3 similar suggestions.

Jamie Foxx created a dead on impression, played piano for REAL....... AND had to do it in Charles style, WHILE virtally blind. NOBODY else here comes close. AND JAMIE looks JUST like Ray. Impossible serendipity. Simply impossible. He has to with this one. Possibly greatest performance of all time for a man on screen.
