Which of these movie nerds played by non-geeky-looking actors would you say is the most "adorkable"?

Just found out that list was pending for two years, any suggestions are welcome but with pictures, it would be better, not sure I should include Jerry Lewis as the Nutty professor.

“Jerry Lewis as the Nutty professor” why not? He created the character. And since you included a dead actor, Cary Grant, why not include Jerry?
Garry Cooper in Ball Of Fire (1941). I know that one specially because over at the Satchmo polls, I was talking about it’s musical remake “A Song Is Born” starring Danny Kaye in Garry Cooper’s role. They are both based on the same Billy short story ”From A to Z”.
Just take every single name from the caption of this picture from Real Genius https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089886/...
And don’t forget The Breakfast Club” Anthony Michael Hall.
“Family Natters” you know who...

I wanted to stick on 'characters with glasses' because that's the cinematic way to turn a stud into a nerd, I'll consider your suggestions... ( butno "Family Matters", this is about movie nerds and I think actor Jaleel White is mostly associated with Steeve Urkel so I'm not sure he fits the description, that's why I didn't include Harry Potter... maybe I should.)

LOL!  Wow, that was pretty obvious... more like a riddle than a math problem.  That makes it a lot better.  :)

Mathematics education is all wrong.

Don't even get me started, it will be a long, long rant.

Talia / Abi,

As a kindred spirit who has loved math since kindergarten, may I humbly suggest you create a poll related to STEM.

Brody from 'Jaws'. He is the clever guy, but closely misses to get eaten by the big white. He is a little nerdy, but also Clumsy in some scenes.

The young woman in 'Final Destination 5', which got her eyes fixed by a laser operation. She looks smart, but can't save her eyes with her free hands. She's a fool indeed!

Guys only, i'm afraid. Originally, the list was about nerds played by hunky actors (like Arnie or Tom Selleck), I didn't mind expand it to other pretty-looking (though not epitomes of virility) actors. The reason why I didn't consider women is because I think there's an already existing poll about movie female geeks and most of them were wearing glasses so I didn't want the polls to overlap.

Elmo, if you have remaining space on your list, would you consider television characters?

If you mean the "usual" nerdy looking characters like in "The Big Bang Theory" or Steeve Urkel, the poll isn't exactly about them, in fact the equation is simple:

- if we have only 5 or 6 "adorkable" TV characters played by virile actors, I'd rather stick to a movie poll

- if we can have at least 10 TV characters, then I'd rather make a second list

Either ways, it'd be better to have only movie characters here :)
