The eight actors below are the only actors to receive a Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and Critics' Choice Award nomination for the same performance and then fail to be nominated for an Oscar for that role.* Which performance do you think most deserved to also receive an Oscar nomination?

I've saw most of them and they all are great on their roles but for me the best, it may be: Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler. He was outstanding.

By the way, great idea.

My thoughts exactly: all of the performances were superb but I think Gyllenhaal's was the most extraordinary. He didn't resemble himself at all: he was all character. And sublimely so.

Definetly. I am the same opinion than yours.
He's perfomance on Nightcrawler is featured on my list of "Underrated Acting Perfomances"

He is so versatily, that is so remarkable to watch. For me, one of the most talented actors of hollywood.

I'm glad that your poll as a live. I really like this idea.
