I didn't expect Insidious The Last Key to be on here. Thought the third one would have scared people away.
For sure, I liked the first two but I haven't seen the third. Have heard extremely disappointing stuff about it but the trailer made it look cool...

It doesn't carry the same suspense nor the nice camera work since James Wan didn't direct it. The plot was very forgettable. I don't know if it was the script or the lead actress but she was all over the place, some parts I thought she was good and then others I felt like I was watching some B horror movie.
And I also didn't like they dangled the three investigators from the first two movies were returning for this but they were barely in the movie.
I was between giving it a 3 or a 4 but ended up giving it a 3/10.

Too bad and you’re right, without Wan behind the camera it would be such an inferior film. I think I’ll still watch it but jeez, 3/10 is garbage. Out of curiosity, what did you give the other Insidious films?

That’s pretty accurate with me to be honest. I gave both the 1st and 2nd a 7- I must say that I love the conjuring films a lot. Gave those both 8s, hbu?

Totally agree, I know it got plenty of acclaim but perhaps the idea didn't have the kind of 'mass-appeal' producers were expecting it to.

Neat poll! I voted for Rampage because I thought it would've made more. I mean, it had one of the biggest stars and the biggest, most awesome animals! So well made, for a monster movie.

I was quite surprised with "Ralph Breaks the Internet" performing so poorly at the box office. Even "The Angry Birds Movie" (2016) performed better, with 352 million dollars.

It's my non-professional opinion that some people are a little tired of these "crazy" Disney movies. Where's the good old fashioned Princes and Princesses and mice with cute voices? They've been replaced with squawky video game characters and crude jokes.
I miss movies like this.
It seems like even 5 or 7 years ago there were more "sweet" movies. Like Frozen, even.
The animal movies I remember watching a lot were Charlie, the Lonesome Cougar and The Incredible Journey.
