The Constitution State is the official nickname of Connecticut. In 1788 it became the 5th state of the United States of America. These movies have a connection with Connecticut. It's a topic in the story or they are (partially) filmed in Connecticut.
Which movie (or movie poster) do you associate the most with Connecticut?

I was surprised that you did not include any of the films involving Ichabod Crane from  "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (1820). The reason the avaricious schoolteacher is treated as an outsider by the other characters in the story is that he is the only one who is not a native of New York. He is from Connecticut.

Quote from the story: "Ichabod Crane, who sojourned, or, as he expressed it, "tarried", in Sleepy Hollow for the purpose of instructing the children of the vicinity. He was a native of Connecticut, a State which supplies the Union with pioneers for the mind as well as for the forest, and sends forth yearly its legions of frontier woodmen and country schoolmasters."

That is the character I always associate with the state.

Hey, where's Beetlejuice? The whole movie is set in some archetypal Litchfield-type small town in Connecticut (except the underworld scenes, of course). The state itself is not super crucial to the story (though the town is), but the Deetzes clearly say that they are living there. I liked Amistad, The Ice Storm, Stanley & Iris and Far From Home (among others), but I'd pick Beetlejuice by a longshot if it's eligible. That's an all-time classic fun movie.
