I'm considering to base the poll on English, French, and Japanese-language adaptations, which make up all of the options anyway. It fits with Wikipedia's decision to have separate List of films based on comics articles for only those three, as they "have been extensively adapted into films".
This is not to diminish the other groups' cultural impact, but I think the three blocks you had were pretty solid (Italy is known for its Walt Disney adaptations but the French-Belgian school is responsible for so many iconic creations that stood the test of time and inspired so many movie adaptations we'd lose the track just counting them). No offense meant, but there aren't many adaptations of comic-books that aren't American / Japanese / French-Belgian.

If we examine the main wiki-page for adaptations, there are 129 adaptations in the category "Filipino". Then we go to the "grand" page for French-language comics adaptations and calculate there... 128 of them. The difference is only in two facts: 1) Filipino have much less links (but the films are searchable on IMDb), 2) the popularity is different for different regions. Voila.
So, I agree that the three main traditions exist, but all the rest should be explained clearly enough.
If the poll is going to represent the three named languages only, may be it would be better to let it be explained to the audience, IMHO.
PS BTW: I did not calculate the Spanish yet. They also constitute a very strong group.

The poll doesn't seem to work either way. I fail to give an all-around satisfactory explanation for any approach. I'll let it rest for now.
Your poll still works with "American, European and Asian" traditions as you've named them. If you need to give a wide range of examples for each of them, we can help you. If you want to give no examples, nobody forced you. There is always a way to provide objectiveness, if you eager to.

Oh, as an avid comic book fan it's such a hard poll to choose. I really love all three traditions and they are too different to even compare, despite some aspects matching and proving that there are similarities between cultures, as much as there are differences.
Take, for example, Asian comics: it would be natural to assume that Manhwa is just Korean variety of Japanese Manga, but it has enough differences, evident on the first glance, to stand on its own.

I'm not a fan of comics, but I miss two more "Like" buttons to value this comment.
European comics, more specifically Belgian or Franco-Belgian comics.
