Hell, tomorrow is The day, I should probably see it before commenting but I think so, although a superhero movie very different from the others.
rated the 19th best movie of all time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this morning it was the 21th the movie increased his rating Amazing!!!!!
Cinephile...? You know it can't sustain the high IMDb rating (no matter if it deserves it or not). So? Too many !!!! to your post. The immediate kneejerk reaction by the public is/was expected.

The very same thing happened when 'The Dark Night' premiered. It was #1 on the IMDb Top 250 for a long time. but it dropped eventually. It's at #4. Where will it be in another 10 years? This initial surge will subside.

What were you expecting, Next time, I will say '' OH wow the movie is rated 19th best of all time, this is just a bunch of newby fans who rated it for their fun. In two days it will be completely forgotten and will be 19th in the bottom rated movies of all time.''

I'm not talking about the aurora controversy, I'm talking about the superhero controversy, because
I don't want to make it a political debate and this debate about '' Is Joker a dangerous movie or not is purely politic.)
My personal opinion ( I apologize for the GIF, I know that GIF may not be appropriate to talk about a tragedy like Aurora, but it describes extremely well my opinion that a mad person can find his push everywhere.
