It's a movie crime!!! Which of these cheesy, over done scenes do you find the most unrealistic/annoying?

LOL!  Actually, if it were Jack Slater, it would be
"Big Mistake to Go With Another Insurance Company"
or something like that.
But yours is great too.  :)

I think this is an impossible idea, it's awesome but impossible, you've got to be more specific, choose a specific area, a theme or a genre and you'll see that even by being specific, you'll be lucky if you don't get overflowed by ideas.

Sorry, I didn't watch that TV-Series. But the description of the series could match with the clichees I counted and were seen in many movies. Could you tell me what's NIA? I never heard about that acronym, but would like to know about.

Hi Breumaster
You are so correct about the 10 seconds or less, unless it's a James Bond Movie! LOL The timers stop on 007. Remember the Nuclear Bomb on Goldfinger?

The Villains. 1. Villains will always reveal their whole plan to either the tied-up hero or the hero's tied up family.

Nicely constructed poll, I thought I would have a lot suggestions, but the theme is well-executed. A job well done!

The hero has just achieved a personal goal (he got the girl, or something like that) and a crowd of people who have no relation to him stands by in a circle to cheer and clap.

Tournament version: the crowd that roared for acts of violence and only cheered for the stronger contestant is suddenly on the hero's side during the finale, even if he's about to be defeated and even though they know nothing of his inspiring backstory (or whatever is supposed to make the movie viewer root for him).

Important question to an Admin or Whoever is in charge of making polls:
Is it necessary that I make this poll idea for one certain genre, or will it get to go live the way it is?  Thank you.

No, it is not necessary to do separate polls for different genres. That doesn't mean that this will necessarily go live but usually if it was not going live for a specific reason like that, someone would make a suggestion.

On that point, I like this poll and found myself nodding along, and sometimes laughing along, as I read many of the options. What gives me pause is that there is a lot of text under many of the options and, generally, poll takers unfortunately don't seem to like to read a lot and may just skip a poll instead of voting if it requires a lot of reading. I'd suggest trying to make the descriptions and examples of the options more succinct and cut anything that's not necessary to understand  the choices.

rubyfruit76, Thank you for answering my question and I'm glad I was able to make you laugh, lol!  I will probably go in as soon as I have time and re-do some stuff to make it more concise.

Also, I agree that there is a lot of text for one poll. I think you should focus on one cliche per option.

Hi NIA.
Two champions and I have weighed in on shortening up the wording. I'd like to see this go live.
For each movie title, pick the best quip, One and only one for each. It's going to be tough, I know. But it will help it have a chance of going to a live poll. I'd like to see it go live. Listen to what Peter and Rubyfruit76 say.
So get to work on it.
Cheers
Ed
Thanks.
