Corrected! Great movie! I love it !
I must admit, that it isn't flawless.
But all in all the whole package is great.

I haven't seen it yet. I would like to support other movies as much as possible before this one to keep the competition alive :). Judging by what they show in theaters around this time, they don't seem to believe in alternatives though.

Yes, but only once.  It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun - and I even loathed the movie we saw!  Too bad there's not more around.  I also think they should show old movies, too.  That would be cool.

It's great that you have this opportunity. I agree there should be more drive-ins, and more movie theaters showing old movies. Have fun!

Germany was never that into drive-in-cinema like U.S.A! Germans want to sit in a comfortable seat. Although Gottlieb Daimler was the inventers of the automobility, most Germans still separate their cars from their living room. We still have some Drive-In-cinemas, but very limtated and those 330 places for cars seem big to me, when I look at the images of local drive-in-areas.

Specially me and my family and many Germans, too want the full monty. Dolby Atmos, 4K, and comfortable seats. But I have to admit - even these "big" seats in the cineplexes seem to be made for hobbits. Too small at the waist!

But I plan to watch the next Fast and Furios title first time under the free sky at a movie drive-in. One thing, I never did before. I hope it's romantically satisfying. ;)

At our drive-in, we were lucky enough to be surrounded by nice and quiet people.  :)  Hope it's the same for you, Breumaster!

A car seat can be more comfortable than an auditorium seat, plus there is the benefit of personalized climate control.

That's true, Jeorj.
Maybe it depends a little on the car one drives. In Germany the self-concience about climate change, boidiversity and environment in general grows fast. Many people drive tiny cars below 100 horsepower. And it might also be a matter of mentality. I guess if I would ask some people on the street when they where last time at the cinema drive-in, most of them would ask: No. And some older may ask: Is there still one?

I know where the places are. It's only the head which decided a few hundred times otherwise. When people here give their good money to watch a movie, they want the full package. Since I'm a fan of good sound equipment, my car is still not able to play Dolby Atmos. Before you correct me: I know the sound is sent over the normal radio frequencies. And my equipment is ok, the sound won't disapoint me.

But it's more about the principle. It's freaking more fun, when Vin Diesel jumps with his car over your head and you hear the car from behind, from over your head and then appears from the top of the screen and crashes before your nose with a deep vibrating rumbling noise. My car sure can't top that sound effects with it's equipment although it's really good.

When I formerly asked friends to come with to the drive in, they asked me, why not going to the normal cinema auditory. When I asked my wife, the answere always was sometimes, not today. Later I didn't ask anymore. The answeres always were the same.

Btw: Public viewing is a big matter in the summer months. But it's lesser on a drive in, more at public places in the big cities. Berlin Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, etc. ...

Public viewing = public screening in this context (as far as I know, the word usually refers to a presentation of a deceased person before a funeral in English).

Oh WOW!
Ok, the climate change is still not that bad. ;)
We don't count public statistics about deceased climate victims in Germany. ;D
Seems like I'm lost in translation.
It's like cell phones and handys. :)
For non-Krauts:
(handy is the german word for cell phone) :D

When we went, I sat on the hood of the car, and apparently the engine kept me warm, because when I got down I was colder.  :D

We wanted to buy tickets. But all good tickets were sold two weeks ago, when we've gone to the boxoffice. So it needs a little more time, because for such a delight we want near to perfect seats. We want all the benefits the movie can give us, so we have to wait for near to perfect seats in the biggest of our local cinema auditoriums.

They should release Avengers movies on election days and put voting booths in movie theaters.

LOL!  That's not a bad idea... have voting booths in theaters so people can vote about what they just saw!  Example:

What Did You Think of The Lion King?

   Great!

Awful!

Mediocre.

Mediocre is one of the worst statements you can give to a movie. If it's good up to great, you will automatically give a 7/10 up to a full 10/10.

If it's really bad, then the producers have guts to release it. So 50.000 ratings for an obviously dull production, ending in a  3/10 or downwards average rating could be a knighting - in a special way.

I guess when I call a movie mediocre, I mean that it's not Birdemic material, but no Narnia, either.  :)

I came back from seeing the movie and I enjoyed it but wouldn't say 'it's the best of the MCU' or even 'I liked it but not as much as the previous movies'. I think a statement that reflects my take would be  'I liked it, I would rank it up somewhere high among the MCU films'.

I saw the movie yesterday. I didn't like it as much as the previous. I didn't like how they treat my favorite character (Thor), Loki wasn't involved in the movie and I think there is a big plot hole with the time travel thing.

I feel that they had their hands in the time travel and did not know how to give total coherence to the story, something else that bothered me was the drastic change they gave to Thanos and as all his philosophy and ideology of the first film disappeared turning it into another common villain, I finally stay with Infinity War and Winter Soldier is still my favorite movie of Marvel
