I would suggest Bibleman. The Bible is full of gory scenes, and someone finding inspiration in it could make for a great slasher film villain.
Among a few high-lights:
*The Tribe of Benjamin gang-raping a Levite priest's concubine through the night, then the Levite mulitating her corpse and using its pieces to request the other tribes to help him get revenge.
*Prince Amnon of Israel raping his half-sister. When their father David refused to punish his son, Amnon was killed by his own half-brother Absalom in revenge. Setting the stage for a civil war between David and Absalom.
*Solomon gaining the throne in a bloody coup d'etat, massacring among others his half-brother Adonijah, and the general Joab (David's right-hand-man)
*Nabal "mysteriously" dying after refusing to pay protection money to David and his bandits. Then David rushing to marry Abigail (Nabal's widow) and to claim Nabal's fortune for himself.
*King Ish-bosheth of Israel, murdered and decapitated in his own bedroom while sleeping.
*Jephthah the Judge killing his own daughter, and offering her as a human sacrifice to Yahweh.
*Phinehas (the future High Priest of Israel) murdering the Israelite prince Zimri and the Midianite princess Cozbi while the couple was having sex in their tent. Raning through their bodies with his spear.
*Samuel the Judge executing the prisoner-of-war Agag with his own hands, to defy King Saul's orfers to spare the captive's life. Then Samuel proclaiming that no prisoner-of-war should be spared: "... utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass"

Dimos Dicoudis that glorious comment of yours about the Bible was caught in the spam filter. I fished it out. :) I've never seen "Bibleman", but it has an interesting reputation as a cult favorite, if not entirely for right reasons...
