wow...'victory'...that brings back memories...

the story behind that poster was that the stallone character and the michael caine character where supposed to be alone on the poster, with arms raised, to shape a 'v' for victory...but when the producers were told they had to put soccer star pele on the poster as well, he was shoehorned in there very awkwardly, ruining the effect...

my favorite would have to be 'the international', which wasn't a great movie, but that poster shot was from inside the guggenheim museum, which is spiral inside, so, if you've ever been to that museum, (which i have), then it's kinda cool in that respect...

Out of curiosity what criteria did you use to select funny / weird looking film posters? Are you accepting suggestions from others?

May I suggest you change your title either to:
Which Movie Has the Funniest/Weirdest Looking Poster? 
or
Movies With the Funniest/Weirdest Looking Posters
(in which case you write the question in the intro)

Also, if you want you could make this an image list, since the images are what people will vote for.

Hi Hunter and welcome to the poll board! 

This is a good poll: bravo for such a well constructed first poll. 

I recommend taking Jess's (Djesika) advice on the title: If you use the proper capitalization in the title, your poll would be eligible to be featured on IMDb's home page. I'm not guaranteeing that it would be chosen for the home page but it would at least be eligible and it's always nice to see one's poll on the home page.

great selection jen...always loved the straw dogs poster...

have seen all of these posters before except 'the holy mountain...i'm not sure how funny it is, but it definitely looks interesting (in a weird sorta way i guess)...
