There are misfortunes that unfortunately happen. Airplane Crashes is one of them. We do not want it to happen, but the reality is that although the plane is one of the safest means of transportation to travel, there is always a small risk of an accident. In the case of the Airplane, this minimal possibility can be tragic. From people who have truly experienced this tragic event the moments before the crash can be a hell of emotions.

To portrayal this to the screen is not such an easy thing, it needs not only a good directing but also the effort of every people involved on the scene to create this intense atmosphere of agony.

Which one of these scenes, you think better aproached a real situation?

Note:

I want more suggestions to this poll but i'm only looking for Airplane Crashes with a more realistic perspetive. Airplane Crashes the type "TDKR" or "WWZ" it's not what i am looking for.

It's more from what it is on the list.

The Airplanecrash in 'Knowing'. It was very loud, intense and shocking.
The sound department did their best! ;)

I just realize, there are many good scenes without image on IMDb
The planecrash on 'Goldfinger' (I don't remember proper - There must have been one, is it?)
The Jet-plane-crash on 'The Andromeda Strain' after the pilots mask overflows with green andromeda dust.
The plane crashes on 'World Trade Centre' were spectacular like the (unfortunately) real crashes.
The Space-Shuttle crashlanding in 'The Core' - Again ... no image.

What about 'Final Destination', 'Aviator', 'Live ... Die ... Repeat' and 'The Right Stuff'?
Specially 'Aviator' was very intense and showed the crash by looking on Howard Hughes, who crashed. That was for the big screen!

Hey Breu

Maybe i didn't explain well, the idea of this is too show the tense moments that are in a plane on a imminent crash. I'm not focused on the crash scene in self, i'm more focused on this intense atmosphere, i'm looking for a emmotional connection that makes you feel what the characters on the movie feel, like stress, fear, panic...

I watched the crash scene of the Aviator and yeah altough it wasn't a commercial plane crash scene, although the CGI seems like of a video game, it's pretty good from the that perspective we see DiCraprio's character tense and affraid of the lost of the control and emminent crash. So it's unffair to not put because the plane commercial thing.
So.. Definitely, added. Thanks for mention that again.

...about Final Destination, it was a dream, the crash didn't really happened. For example, i thought include the Fight Club scene when the Narrator dream and hipotetacly he said, that he hopes that airplane crash because if you die on a trip the life ensurance it's bigger... something like that and then he wake up and knows "Tyler Durden"
I was think included that but seems unfair, you know. Because the others are an integral part of the story.

The image of Non-Stop, it was me that submitted a couple days ago kkkkk. I was about to include but i tought it was cheesy.

Thanks for your contribution. ;)

Your welcome. :D
I just thought the airplane-crash at 'Final destination' was a bad omen at first, a vision of sooner happenings and got real at the end. But it's long ago, I saw it and I might remember not proper. If would like to nail it to the point, I would have to watch the end again to be sure. Glad I could help a little. If I have more ideas, I'll post them.

No, sorry, I just read the full synopsis in Wikipedia. The planecrash was a vision of what should be and was replaced with other ways they died. Ok, now I remember proper.

Two images of 'The Grey', where an airplanecrash happened. But I'm sorry there
is no really good image of the situation itself. Just two images that show there
was a crash.

The main character had to struggle through wilderness after the crash,

I added, The Grey airplane crash, i opted for another image that is more approximately to the moment of the crash scene. I've saw the movie about 3 months ago and altough the premise of the movie is silly, it's somehow quite entertaining.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.

Yes, i would like to have images related to that specific moment but i've tried to found and nothing. Mostly of the images that are in my polls are images that i submitted in order to get right my own criteria.

For example, it's hard to find an image of the moments of agony in The Grey or The Aviator. So, i have to include an image more aproximately to the scene.

I immediately thought of Alive, it was certainly the highlight of a rather average movie, I think it was aided by computer imagery and in the 90s it looked pretty impressive.

I can strongly relate to that poll, I suffer from fear of flying and these movies depicted exactly the kind of sensations I dreaded, feeling all powerless and dependent on the skills and decisions of competent but not infaillible men.

FYC:
Plane crash from Alfred Hitchcock's Foreign Correspondent (1940) absolutely should be there! It still holds up exceptionally well and is a jaw-dropping technical masterpiece.

It's interesting that I have certain fondness for plane crash movies but actually can only recommend fewer of them. I guess it's a leftover from my childhood excitement over sketch comedy show "Kalambur" which had an awesome recurring segment in which a single tedious plane crash is a basis of 400+ episode US TV series.

Good poll. My vote: United 93.

May I suggest a few edits to the intro? (except for the longer comment at the end, the little edits are below in bold; very sensitive and well written intro, btw)

There are misfortunes that sadly happen, including airplane crashes. We do not want them to happen, but the reality is that although the plane is one of the safest means of transportation to travel, there is always a small risk of an accident. In the case of the Airplane, this minimal possibility can be tragic. From people who have truly experienced this tragic event, the moments before the crash can be a hell of emotions.

To portray this on the screen is not such an easy thing; it needs not only good directing but also the effort of every person involved on the scene to create this intense atmosphere of agony.

Which one of these scenes, you think better aproached a real situation? (Since two of the movies portray what were real situations, perhaps ask a different question? Since you mention, very compellingly, the "hell of emotions" and the "intense atmosphere of agony," and the title mentions "intense," maybe something like "Which of these scenes do you think best portrays the emotional intensity of these tragic situations?")

Well, it was a premonition rather than a dream; the plane actually did crash (or explode), as seen in the last seconds of the video. But I agree, it's probably too different from the other ones in your list.

I hope, the series will continue. Now there are two further running suggestions ahead.
dgranger's should be the first. But if it takes too long, I would consider that
mine would be good to take as well. It's fine your's got online. Just voted for
Hughes crash, depicted by DiCaprio. That was the hell of a crash scene!

Sorry I'm a little rare the last times, but I got many things around to manage.
The other time I want to only watch movies.
