possible incorrect film reference needs film historian to investigate

I think I've identified an incorrect film reference in a very important biography (for Stepin Fetchit, 1902-1985 - nm0275297), but I cannot in good conscience make the correction, because I am not sure of the details. It needs a qualified film historian to verify. While reading the biography for Stepin Fetchit (nm0275297), I noticed an old-form film reference (_In Old Kentucky (1938)_) and wanted to change it to the link= format, but when I went to the IMDb page for In Old Kentucky (which was 1936, not 1938, by the way - tt0026524) I did not find Stepin Fetchit in the cast list. Instead, Bill Robinson (1878-1949 - nm0732408) was listed as a major black player in the film. Fetchit's biography mentions "In Old Kentucky" as a film he appeared in with Will Rogers. The film that should be cited here is most likely "Judge Priest" (1934 - tt0025335), which takes place in Kentucky (whence the confusion?). Unfortunately, these details are not enough to make me confident to make this change. Someone with more expertise/knowledge about the films of Stepin Fetchit, Will Rogers, and this period of cinema will have to make this call.
