Problem with List Sorting on Laptop

My old Windows XP Pro laptop does not seem to want to sort my custom lists by name. Each list title I created has a number so that they will always appear in a particular order if sorted by name. Can't seem to make it happen. Can you help?

What browser & version are you using?

I no longer have access to Windows XP, so I wouldn't be able to try what you're doing.
I have no trouble with sorting my list of lists alphabetically, but I didn't number them. I do have a couple with special character { leading the title, and they sort together at the end.

Also, make sure that you're not running any extensions/scripts/addons to the browser that might be altering the results, as described here:
