Problems adding some movies to my lists

I for some reason can't add movies like "A Trip To The Moon (1902)" or "Un Chien Andalou (1929)" to any of my lists. I have tried searching for them in various different languages, but neither one has shown up. Just wanted to ask if to see if I am doing anything wrong, or if it is the website.

Both films are short subjects.

Even when you search for a short from the search box atop nearly every IMDb page, you have to look at the full search results to find shorts. They do not display in the popup suggestions there or on a List Edit > Add Title box.
