So, I've had this problem almost every episode of The Alienist. The release status gets stuck in post-production. Generally, I've been able to change the release status and that allows me to add the (as ...) attribute to actors. However, I changed the status on the latest episode and it still hasn't gone through. What's going on with this series?

Okay, but that doesn't answer the underlying question. Why is this series having a problem where the status doesn't change to release on the released date? It's happened for every episode so far that has aired which seems to be some underlying bug to the series page.

There is no underlying bug it's just the "released" logic preventing the addition of the (as) credits can sometimes get delayed. When you add the released production status this does kick the system into action so if you experience this again please do so and this should resolve the issue.
