Production companies spamming the keywords

I've always felt confident that the "Production company" field in the main form is enough for contributors to show a relative info. But among others we have in wide use the keywords:
Abc; Bbc; Disney; Hallmark; Netflix; Netflix Original; Netflix Series; Sony...

Is it OK? Don't think so.

It may not be enough in terms of searchability.

I try to google:
imdb Netflix
and have all lists, not a movie or series keyword with 'Netflix'.

The similar story after:
site:www.imdb.com Netflix
but this time we have 'Netflix' included in titles, not keywords.

May be it is helpful when using the last search through the duckduckgo, but I'm not sure where DDG matched: production company name or the same keyword...

If we talk about the IMDb inner search, it is equally easy to click a link: whether company name, or keyword.

Hi MAthePA -

As per our guidelines, production companies are ineligible to be listed as a keyword on a title.

The company name keywords you reported are currently pending removal.  If you encounter further company keywords listed on a title you should request the deletion through our online Update form, otherwise if there are too many to decipher, you can report them for removal through our Contact Form following the path: IMDb Fan/Contributor Questions --> Other data types --> Other data issue.
