Production Status not updating

Hi there,

I've submitted numerous requests for our BBC Production 'Gold Digger' (2019) to be changed from 'In development' to 'Pre-production' but so far it hasn't changed and it has been over 3 weeks since the initial request was submitted- I have probably made a further 3 or 4 submission requests since then.

The most recent contribution number I have is Contribution #180724-101253-042000. Please can someone look in to this and let me know why it won't update. Currently we can only view more details or make changes to the production through IMDB Pro which isn't convenient for us. Please can someone advise on how to get the production status to update or why it seems to not be working.

Thanks

Hello Hatts,
I think you might need to wait a bit longer for your submission to be processed, checked, hopefully approved & added to the database.

Your last submission (180724-101253-042000) was only submitted at 10:12 (BST) today (24th July 2018). Do you have the submission references of any earlier submissions?

The Processing Times page says that Production Status submissions have been processed through 22 July 2018.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for getting back to me- I have two further submission reference numbers from 9th July  and 17th July requesting for the episodes to be changed from in development to pre-production and nothing happened with those ones either. The reference number for 9th July submission is   #180709-150504-696000 and the number for the 17th July is 180717-083740-363000

Any help would be hugely appreciated as I did check the status submissions and was confused as to why ours hasn't updated when I had made two submissions prior to the 22nd that didn't seem to have been processed at all. The one I made today is my 3rd submission so confused as to why its not updating. Thanks so much!

Well the submissions on the 9th & 17th July appear to have been processed by now so they look like they've been rejected.
What did you put in them? Anything that would cause them to be rejected?
If not then we'll have to wait for an IMDb staffer to look at it.

Hi Steve,

I can't think of anything I could have put in to make them be rejected. I literally went on our IMDb Pro account, selected change status and then selected all 6 eps and changed their status to Pre Production and submitted their changes. There was nothing to say I had done anything incorrect or any info was missing. I have also submitted the names of the production team and producer, director etc and that all seems to have been updated fine, its just the production status that doesn't seem to change at all. Hopefully an IMDb staffer will see this and offer some advice

Thanks so much for all your help so far and the speedy responses!

When you select the episodes, you are effectively updating the episode pages and not the series page. Try updating the series without selecting episodes.

Hi Peter have tried that- have gone to the bottom and selected edit page and then have chosen to change the production status. It then takes you to a page where you select the episodes and then update their production status. As far as I can see there is no option to just update the production itself without updating the episodes.

Yes, you just don’t select any episodes.

Hi Hatts -

I just checked the episode titles and can confirm that they are now listed with a "Pre-production" status, for example see:

All season 1 episodes are now listed with the Pre-production status on the site.  Cheers!

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for your help, I can now see the eps are listed as in pre production. However the actual page for Gold Digger is still listed as 'In Development: See more at Pro' and the status for the production on the IMDb Pro page is listed as in 'in treatment'. Is there any way to change this so the details of the production can be seen on the regular IMDb page in full and so that it is no longer listed as In development but in pre-production?

Thanks
Hattie

Hi Hattie -

I just reviewed the Series title page and noted that the status is now displaying as "Pre-production":

I hope this helps!
