I had this happen to one of my lists. Here is a temporary fix (until IMDb resolves the problem):
Use Sort by: List Order (ascending)
or
Use Sort by: Date added (recent first)
That way, the titles reappear. At least they did for me.
DO NO USE Sort by: Title A-Z -- or the titles will disappear again.

No luck. Whichever sorting method I choose, the list remains empty. Yet back at the 'dashboard' it says 1675 ratings.. Come on imdb..

Whoa. This is bad. I just tried what you did and I have the same problem. When I click on my See all 1,385 ratings » the list is empty.

why does the "Your List" page show a lock next to the ratings page when my ratings page is set to public

Just rated a film. The score seems logged on the movie page (my rating next to the general rating). But it won't appear on the dashboard, the count is still the same (should be +1) and the list remains empty. this needs fixing.

Hi John Tompazidis,
This appears to be your profile page:
http://www.imdb.com/user/ur5343673/
The link to your Watchlist is grayed out, which indicates private and/or it is empty.

If you have your Watchlist set to private, would you mind temporarily setting it to public, then responding to this post. This way others can verify your problem.
If you have your Watchlist set to public, please indicate this in your response to this post.
Since there are others who have reported this problem, this is likely a IMDb system wide problem.

I will make my watchlist public when I get home (I'm writing this on my phone) but it's working fine. It populates like it should. My ratings list has the problem.

John,
There is no need for you to make your Watchlist public. I misread your original post.
I've replicated your problem. I see this when I look at your profile page:
![]()

However, when I go to your ratings page, it is empty.
Obviously, your ratings are intact, otherwise IMDb's Compared to you feature wouldn't work with your account. It is still puzzling why your ratings page indicates that you have no ratings.

John,
It looks like IMDb corrected the problem. When I look at your ratings, all 1,676 Titles appear. Please verify that this now works for you.

When I click the list title it says "list empty" though it states 700+ titles in the main page! Awaiting an explanation. Thanks in advance.

I rated almost 1,500 films and series and I can no longer see my ratings. This is very distressing. Why has this happened?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Tired of the "must have a cell phone to participate" Mentality.
I wanted to add my opinion to one of the conversations on IMDB. However, in order to do so, I must authenticate my account by giving them a cell phone number so that they can text me. If I don't have a cell phone, it seems I'm simply out of luck.
I don't have a smart phone with an unlimited talk, text and data plan. I have a landline phone, hooked up to a VOIP service, and I have a basic cell phone, with a pay-per-call/text plan. Why should I have to pay to receive a text, just so that I can post a comment. What's wrong with verification via E-mail; which is free?
IMDB isn't the first website to require people to authenticate via a text. My solution is that I don't bother to authenticate. It's unfortunate too, since I really have comments that I'd like to make in some of these IMDB conversations. But I won't pay to receive a text so that I can make a comment. If I'm passionate enough, I'll comment on a different site/forum that's dealing with the same topic, but doesn't require me to use a cell phone. Simply put, I think it's unfair to require a person to authenticate by receiving a text message. What's wrong with E-mail?

I can't edit titles in my watchlist. When there is a title in my watchlist and I then click the Edit-button (the symbol with the pen), the page refreshes and the list is empty, no titles are listed. This means I can't add titles to my personal lists. Please, imdb, solve this as soon as possible, as it's VERY unnerving! Thanks and greetings

Hi, imdb! All my imdb-lists are shown to me as "empty" - though they're not: I have many lists with some of them containing more than 100 titles, but the titles not shown. Over at getsatifsaction.com other people have the same problem - but no real solution ist given there! So it seems to be a technical imdb problem, MAYBE related with the "new watchlist"?! Please fix this as soon as possible and / or put a helpful info at getsatisfaction.com. Thanks and greetings

Hello All,
We believe this issue is now resolved. Can you please confirm if it still occurs for your list/ratings?

Me again. All episodes of TV shows that I had in my lists seem to be gone from those lists, and I can't add new episodes to the lists. With normal movies it seems to be working (though I'm not sure if in all cases). Please repair this, as I can't do anything about it. Thanks!
