This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled my ratings.

My profile page says that I've got 1000 ratings, but my list of rated movies says 998. It's been like this for a few weeks. My brother has the same problem, but his only differs with one rating.
What's wrong?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Bug on Profile for Ratings List.

This has probably been mentioned before but there seems to be a bug on imdb for user profiles.

For example if you check your own profile it will display the most recent titles you've rated and then a link to see the full list

e.g.

Your Ratings

Most Recently Rated

See all 1,601 ratings

But when you check your complete list the number is less

e.g.

Ratings

All Titles / Find More Titles

(1,574 Titles)

I'm guessing the missing titles (27 in this case) are because there have been some titles that have been deleted/merged over the years and possibly even counted twice when I went back and changed my score for some titles I previously rated already.

Hope there's an update being worked on to fix this.

This has been brought up before. The reason is most likely that one of the films you rated was either deleted or merged. Apparently the count of votes made does not get properly updated with the new count in this case.

I am not sure, but I believe that this is very low priority for correction, as it is basically only a display problem.
