It would be awesome if IMDb could provide spelling suggestions when performing a search much like Google does.
It would also be really cool if the search function could also cross-reference titles entered in one language with the same titles listed in other languages. Often, it's difficult to know if the title will be recorded by IMDb as English or as a whatever alternate language that may have been used to list the title.
One last thing... Google can often "clean up" or ignore useless characters such as accidental or needless punctuation in keyword searches. Can IMDb's search be changed to account for these types of situations?
Just a thought... Would there be any benefit to just adapting the IMDb search to utilize the Google Search API? I do know what ramifications that may have but it might provide a relatively easy solution to rapid search engine capability improvements.
Thanks for hearing me out. I use IMDb so much that these things have occurred to me and I think they may improve my experience. But it's hard to improve on such a great site for which I am grateful.
P.S. - I underlined my main points in order to make them easier to glean.
