I think the title would read much better as "LGBTQ Films of the 2010s".

The film was good and the performances powerful but I think Kechiche also did a great service to all lesbian-porn male amateurs, sex  can be relevant to the plot but talk about overkill.... and always the same position over and over.

Would Frozen qualify? Sure, that's not the core of the story, but wasn't it the closest Disney could ever get to handle LGBT material and get it past the "family-friendly" radar?

I don't think Frozen would qualify.

Second the movie would not qualify. There is no explicit LGBT themed in the movie.

From the list: Carol.  Closely followed by A Fantastic Woman.

You might want to ... define what you mean by LGBTQ cinema.  I suspect you are talking about movies/stories where the protagonist is a member of the LGBTQ community and the film revolves around LGBTQ issues and whatnots.  Rather than movies that have ancillary or supporting characters that may or may not be gay and a story that revolves/centers around cis gender relationships.

To me and others?  This makes sense but to avoid people coming in and dropping "You missed _____" movie featuring this or that gay character but where the story doesn't qualify to the spirit of the suggestion/poll.

As a gay man, I like this poll already. Many are my faves in here.

But, I don't understand what you mean by "This is a list of some of the best movies where protagonists belong to the LGBTQ community." I mean, what's the best? Based on awards? Rating? Because the list will be a very long one.

FYC with ratings 7+ (some of them nominated for Oscar, nominated or won GLAAD Media Awards best Limited or Wide release movies)
Black Swan (2010)
Heartbeats (2010)
North Sea Texas (2011)
Christopher and His Kind (2011 TV Movie)
Wetlands (2011)
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)
Out in the Dark (2012)
Free Fall (2013)
Tom at the Farm (2013)
Hawaii (2013)
Getting Go, the Go Doc Project (2013)
What Now? Remind Me (2013)
The Imitation Game (2014)
Four Moons (2014)
Closet Monster (2015)
Die Mitte der Welt (2016)

Feel free to mine these two polls of mine for ideas:

https://www.imdb.com/poll/A6z9lymk2sU/?ref_=po_ho/
https://www.imdb.com/poll/W8gXrabe55I/?ref_=po_fp

I also had a poll focusing on film characters (the year after the previous two) that hasn't been recast yet but, if I have time soon, I will look that over for more recent films and let you know if any of them haven't been suggested here yet.

There may be some overlap between my polls and yours but I think yours will probably be different enough from mine. I just suggested a new one for this year and then saw yours. 'Great minds think alike.  :)

They were thankful. Added some of them. There were some great and successful movies focused on LGDBQ past years, thought to focus on 2010s.
