Yes, one poll is dedicated to pictures only, hence nastiest stuff question, further emphasized with on the mound for the baseball layman. Only elite pictures are known having pitches that are described by hitters as "nasty", the term is not used for fielders or hitters at all.

Shoeless Joe Jackson was a real-life baseball player. Joseph Jefferson Jackson (July 16, 1887 – December 5, 1951), nicknamed "Shoeless Joe",
was an American star outfielder who played Major League Baseball from
1908 through 1920. He certainly is one the most iconic figures in the
sport, but doesn't qualify for these fictional baseball polls.
All the baseball players in Field of Dreams (1989) that came from the cornfield were real-life players, the lone exception being Ray's father, John Kinsella. Your comment was helpful, as I realize now I mis-remembered the lone fictional player as Archie "Moonlight" Graham rather than correctly as John Kinsella.
