If it was up to the IMDb voters, these movies would have been the Oscar winners for 'Best Motion Picture' of the last 7 years. With which IMDb poll winner for 'Best Motion Picture' do you agree the most?

My list:

unfortunately...from the last seven years, there aren't many movies that have stuck with me...

the only one i can think of off the top of my head is 'yesterday'....

Parasite, I guess. I also like the choice of Call Me by Your Name over The Shape of Water.

Maybe a link to the reference poll would be good.

As for my vote, I mostly disagree with the poll winners. I haven't seen Call Me By Your Name, but from the rest, only 12 Years a Slave was my best picture winner among the nominees.
I don't mind Parasite award, it is worthy, but I wouldn't have awarded any other film.

I definitely agree that the polls should be referenced or at very least mentioned. I would not have had any idea it was referring to a poll and I knew these weren't the highest on the Top 250 for each year so I was confounded.

Seen all but Bohemian Rhapsody.

12 Years a Slave (2013), rated a 10/10. While rating Call Me by Your Name (2017) and Boyhood (I) (2014) both am 8/10. These three movies? I'll likely never rewatch again.

While finding Parasite (2019), Arrival (II) (2016), and The Revenant (2015) have definitely deserved their rewatchability. Though to be fair, I haven't rewatched The Revenant since first watching it back in 2015 and have rewatched Arrival in years. If I could catch the latter two free ... streaming wise? I'd rewatch them.

Voted for Arrival... just because.

Stephen Atwood, interestingly, I am an inversion. I've seen like one-and-a-half movies out of those, with one being exactly Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) (and "half" being 12 Years a Slave (2013) briefly glimpsed on a TV).

I can freely admit that when it comes to mainstream acclaimed drama movies I am usually extremely slow when it comes to catching up with them. That despite being a very inclusive film fan and overall not even being able to tell the exact number of movies I've seen in my life - counting that using the old records is an on-going and rather hard project. My current estimate is at least on 5,000-7,000  feature films...
